She is survived by: her parent Viola Allen; her children, Sonja Emerson, Danny Hinton and Michael Hinton (Dana); her stepchildren, Jane, Betsy and William; her sister Phyllis Straughn; her grandchildren, Jessica, Jenna, Cameron, Daniel, Caitlin and Hannah; and her great grandchildren, James and Abbey.
