With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Birdie Marlene Cox Hinson (Kure Beach, North Carolina), born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on October 30, 2018 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Conrad Hinson; and her siblings, Dewitt Cox and Loreta Stanley. She is survived by: her parents, Aubrey Cox and Birdie Long Cox; her children, Derwin Hinson (Alene) of Kure Beach, NC, Danny Hinson (Debbie) of Greenbrier, TN and Ramona Hinson Canady (Joey Canady) of Hampstead, NC; and her grandchildren, Conrad Hinson, Daniel Hinson (Kelsey), Blair Lowe (Jamie), Kevin Hinson (Ashley), Joshua Hinson, Matthew Hinson, Jesse Canady (Morgan), Stephen Hinson, Ruth Weber (Jordan) and Denae Hinson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Marlene to Kure Beach First Baptist Church.
