He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward "Dink" and Viola Wetherington McCosley; his sister Peggy Batchelor; and his brother-in-law Bobby Ipock. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Joyner McCosley; his children, Danny McCosley (Lisa) and Susan Leggett (Randy); his stepson Robert Jackson (Jean); his grandchildren, Adam Leggett (Lindsay), Nicki Davidson (Joey), Robbie Jackson (Blair), Cameron Jackson (Kristen) and Spencer Jackson; his great grandchildren, Coleman, Sidney, Kolby, Dorsett and Davis; and his siblings, Robert Earl McCosley (Carolyn), Judy Ipock and Tony McCosley (Candace). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
