He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ann Hull (Robert) of Raleigh and Sarah Tripp (Jay) of Ayden; his grandchildren, Julia, Adam Hull, Sidney and Joshua Tripp; and his sister Frances Carlton Huff of Charlotte.
