She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Alsa and Willie Margaret Howell Price; her husband James Garland Herring; and her grandmother Ida Singleton. She is survived by : her children, Jim Herring (Kim), Carol Holland (Bobby) and Paul Herring; her grandchildren, Braxton Holland (Ashley), Stacie Holland Smith (Frederick), Carly Herring, James Herring (Meghan Margarum), P. J. Herring (Jennifer Tacinelli) and Spencer Herring (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Riley Herring, Owen Holland, Hutton Smith, Holland Marie Smith and Elliott Smith; her daughter Diane Marx; her sister-in-law Addie Smith (Paul); and her caregiver Logan Phillips. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
