With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Tyler of Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 2, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Tyler to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Irby Ervin Prince and Florence Benton Prince; her husband Clarence "Tommy" Tyler; and her siblings, Ernest Prince, Claude Edward Prince Sr., Jack Prince Sr., Marie Powers, Juanita Floyd, Florene Stevens, Martha Hardee and Nell Lupo.

She is survived by: her children, Russell Tyler (Janet) of Lake Waccamaw, Kathy Jackson (Jimmy) of Lake Waccamaw and Melody McLamb (Nicky) of Lake Waccamaw; her grandchildren, Jana Gibson (Bailey), Hyland Tyler (Miranda), Cortney Malpass (Quinten), Nicholas McLamb and Kaitlin Nobles (Derrick); her great grandchildren, Avery Malpass, Amelia Malpass and Barrett Nobles; her niece Monica Currie; and her caregivers, Devoria, Karen, Kathy, Danielle, Emma and Von.
