She was predeceased by: her parents, Julean Szpila and Lucille Gelineau. She is survived by: her husband John R. Desanty, Sr. of Lake Waccamaw, N. C.; her children, Johnny Desanty of Savoy, M. A. and Jackie Combes (Matt); her siblings, Ron Szpila (Annette), Steven Szpila, Jeanne Millette (Richard) and Cynthia Daunais (Lawrence); and her grandchildren, Jesse Desanty and Jacob Kelly.
