It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John B. Haynie Jr. of Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Burnett Haynie, Sr. and Doris Bennett Haynie; and his sister Bonnie Haynie Morin. He is survived by : his wife Theresa Elaine Fields Haynie; his son Burnett Haynie; and his sisters, Margie Myers (Mike) of San Benito, TX and Kay Strawn of Hallsboro.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Peacock Funeral Home (1227 S Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Peacock Funeral Home Chapel (1227 S Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472).
