He is survived by : his children, Rodney Burns of Yadkinville, Eric Burns of Sparta, Ashlee Burns and Amanda Burns of King; and his siblings, Grover Burns of Jonesville, Gary Burns of Lansing, Tommy Burns of Lansing, Linda Wagner of Calabash, Billie Burns of Yadkinville, Mary Lou Burns of Yadkinville, Bernadine Greer of Whitetop and Christine Shumate of Wilkesboro. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
