He was predeceased by : his parents, Cleve Eller and Ellie Stike Eller; his former life partner Ellen Eller; his sister Kathleen Poe; and his stepdaughters, Janet Jordan and Brenda Ballou.

He is survived by : his wife Reba Blevins Eller; his sister Marie Cox of Crumpler; his nephew Randall Eller (Beverly) of Jefferson; his nieces, Linda Blackburn (David) of West Jefferson, Karen Shatley (Thomas) of Crumpler, Jeanie Coward (Sam) of Crumpler and Elaine Cox (Derwin) of Crumpler; his stepgrandsons, Monte Ballou, Jr. (Angela) and Ben Jordan (Heather); his grandson Adam Hamm (Sherrie); and also, Michael Hamm (Jan) of Warrensville, Brittany and McKenzie.
