It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Wright (Laurel Hill, North Carolina), born in Camp Pendleton, California, who passed away on June 13, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Margaret Slate of Swansboro, NC and Kyle E. Slate; her husband Jerry Wright; her brother Warren Slate (Stacey) of Clayton; her uncle Bill Underseth of Swansboro; her brother-in-law Edward Wright (Brenda) of Laurinburg; her nephew Chad (Katie) of Laurinburg; her sister-in-law Darlene; and her niece Kristine of Fort Walton Beach, FL..
In lieu of flowers, Barbara requested memorial donations to be given to the Laurel Hill Baptist Church, P. O. Box 367, Laurel Hill, NC 28351.
