Elneta Grooms Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elneta Grooms (Laurel Hill, North Carolina), born in Dillon, South Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Benton and Bessie Young Benton; her husband Luther L. Grooms; and her siblings, James Benton and Lorena Tyner.
She is survived by: her daughter Sylvia Smith of Gibson; her grandson Timothy Love (Christy); and her great grandchildren, Deon, Darrian, Kyona, Chrisetta, Sandra Hunt and Nancy Shoemake. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, her church family and friends.
COVID-19 restrictions of wearing facial mask with social distancing are requested for all services.
