We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2021, at the age of 59, Malcolm Wright of Laurel Hill, North Carolina, born in Dayton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his father Malcolm Wright; his son Christopher "Chris" Chavis; and his grandson Blake Wright. He is survived by : his mother Patsy Ann Odom of Laurinburg; his wife Kathy Chavis Wright; his children, Malcolm Adam Wright (Bridget) of Sunbury, OH, Carrie Wright of Chalfont, PA, Ashleigh Mann (Eric) of Clarksville, TN, Ryan Doren (Lauren) of Aberdeen and Rickie Lee Doren of Laurinburg; his sisters, Pam Adams (Jim) of Laurinburg and Kim Bayha (Tom) of Waxhaw; his grandchildren, Payton Wright, Jillian Cardinal, Anna Belle Mann, Jacob Mann, Ethan Mann, Cadyn Graves, Blaze Goins and Chrisleey McCormick; his nephews, Jeff (Allison Adams), Matthew (Mary Caitlan Adams), Daniel Bayha and David Bayha; and his friend Jennifer Ciparco-McCarthur. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.
COVID restrictions require facial masks or covering with social distancing and limited attendance for all services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for memorial donations to be given to the Humane Society of Scotland County, 1401 West Blvd, Laurinburg, NC 28352.
