It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Stone Hyatt (Laurinburg, North Carolina), born in Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer DeWitt Stone and Mary Ray Stone; her husband Paul H. Hyatt; her daughter Malissa Hyatt Haywood; and her sister Lenora Stone Reece.
She is survived by: her son Darron Paul Hyatt (Crystal Laviner Hyatt) of Wagram; her grandchildren, Heather Haywood Lee (Nicholas), Casey Alexandra Haywood, Brandon Paul-O'Brian Hyatt and Matthew Hunter Hyatt; her great grandchildren, Hunter Cole Hyatt and Axel Gunnar Lee; and her sisters, Maxine Stone Edge of Wagram and Elsie Stone Faircloth of Gastonia. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
