She was predeceased by: her parents, Henslee Clifford McLellan and Bessie Thompson McLellan; her husband Ronald Hampton "Nick" Collie; her siblings, Bill McLellan, Gordan "Rock" McLellan, Dick McLellan, Archanna Blanchard, Barbara Jean McLellan and Dot Murray; her grandchild Cade Thomason Braswell; and her stepson Joseph Scott Collie.

She is survived by: her sons, Mackey Braswell (Karen) of Sanford, Jeff Braswell (Donna) of Laurinburg and Greg Braswell (Heather) of Southern Pines; her siblings-in-law, Ann McLellan of Greenville, SC, Jacque McLellan of Lexington, SC and John Murray of Laurinburg; her grandchildren, Morgan Braswell, Evan Braswell, Hunter Braswell, Alec Braswell and Elizabeth Braswell; and her caregiver Lynn McPherson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Memorial donations may be given to Saint Luke United Methodist Church, 1501 Turnpike Road, Laurinburg, NC 28352 or to Community Home Care & Hospice, 1791 E. Broad Avenue, Rockingham, NC 28379.
