We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2025, at the age of 91, Annell McKenzie Barnhill (Laurinburg, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Annell may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Annell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cleveland McKenzie and Launa Bingham McKenzie; her husband Isaac Cleveland Barnhill; and her sisters, Dorothy Thigpen and Elsie Springs.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Cleveland Barnhill (Pamela) of Danville, GA, Sandy Lee Barnhill (Karen) of Fuquay Varina and Kathy Barnhill Coble (Greg) of Maxton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with many loving extended family.
