Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Annie Snead of Laurinburg, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 87, on August 17, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Richard Powell and Ada Faulk Powell; her husband William Harvey Snead; and her brother L. J. Powell. She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Harvey Snead, Jr. (Lois) of Laurel Hill, Brenda Snead Grooms (Wayne) of Laurinburg and Dianne Snead Norton (Bill) of Laurel Hill; her grandchildren, Chad Snead, Brian Grooms, Holly Hopkins, Leslie Gibson, Kevin Norton, Ronnie Snead and Matthew Snead; and her sister-in-law Betty Powell of Laurinburg. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Current COVID-19 mandates state that facial masks or coverings are required and attendance for all services will be limited to family.
In memory of Annie, the family request donations be given to First Hamlet Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1206 Oak Avenue, Hamlet, NC 28345.
