She was predeceased by: her husband James Fairley Butler, Sr.; her daughter Sharon Woodside Alston; her grandson Jacob Butler; and her siblings, Gibson, Barbara Lewis, Claudette Beane and Carol Jean Gibson.
She is survived by: her son James "Jamie" Fairley Butler, Jr. (Jennifer) of Newton, IA; her sister Mary Norris (Robert) of McColl, SC; her grandchildren, Greg Woodside, Jr. (Stephanie) of Laurinburg, Tony Woodside (Summer) of Laurinburg, Cadyn Butler of Newton, IA, Ashley Alston of Laurinburg and Kailynn Butler of Newton, IA; and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Woodside, Gracie Woodside, Brianna Stanley, Gavin Stanley, Chris Shiflett, Jr., Rebecca Shiflett and Austin Shiflett.
