It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Gibson of Laurinburg, North Carolina, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Emerson Lewis and Naomi Ruth Gibson Lewis; and her brother Barney Emerson "B. E.". She is survived by: her stepdaughter Sandy Foreman of Wisconsin; her husband James "Tracy" Gibson; her children, Lee Mumford (Lynn) of Macon, GA, Daniel Lacy Mumford (Pamela) of Camp Hill, PA and Tina Denise Mumford of Aberdeen, NC.; and her stepsons, James Tracy Gibson, Jr. (Amber) of Laurinburg and Jerry Wayne Gibson (Valerie) of Laurinburg.
The family will receive friends following the service at graveside with facial mask and social distancing.
The family requests in lieu of flowers in order to help others memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer Research Foundation or Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
