She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Mark Epps and Dora Lee Branch Epps; her husband James Thomas Johnson, Jr.; her daughter Sarah J. Fay; and her siblings, Graham Epps, Mark Epps, Edward Epps, Ruby Clark, Sadie Dukes and Zelma Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Edge (Bill) of Laurinburg and James Fay (Ashley) of Hickory Creek, TX; her siblings, Clyde Epps of Maxton, Varsy Epps of Red Springs, Lucious Epps of Maxton, Joseph Epps of Maxton, Hattie Beck of Hamlet, Dora Hoback of Maxton, Geraldine Epps of Maxton and Arletha Epps of Maxton; her granddaughter Kasie Parker (Roger) of Union, SC; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon Parker, Ashlynn Parker, Maddux Parker and Jonah Fay. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
COVID-19 mandates require facial masks or coverings and limited attendance for all services.
