He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Furman and Abbie Hudson Grant. He is survived by: his children, Joe Grant (Debbie) and Kathy Grant of Laurinburg; his sister-in-law Eleanor H. Benson of Blackstock, S. C.; and his grandchildren, Haley Powell and Chad Cole. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren and loving nieces and nephews.
