He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cecil Stewart and Frances Manette Peele Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Fields Stewart; his children, Cecil Stewart of Gibson and Missy Baker of Laurinburg; his sisters, Cindy Barrett (Ernie) of Wagram and Lori Ann Grammatis of Port Charlotte, FL; and his grandchildren, Morgan Stewart, Kyle Collins and Courtney Collins. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, friends.
