It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Riley of Laurinburg, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tilton Pershing Riley and Ethel Stout Petty; his children, Sylvia J. Greeson and Charles David Riley (Teresa) of Laurinburg; his brothers, Lynwood Sykes (Carol), Darrell Riley and Joe Riley (Wanda); his half-brothers, Jimmy Riley, Sammy Riley and Jerry Riley; and his stepdaughter Susan Talbert.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Hill Riley; his daughter Diane Riley (Dale) of Graham; his stepchildren, Joe Talbert and Michelle Herndon of Laurel Hill; his son-in-law Tommy Greeson of Graham; his sister-in-law Janice Riley of Burlington; and his half-siblings, Johnny Riley of Graham and Brenda Snipes of Graham. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; four great- great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19, all attendees are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing when possible.
