He was predeceased by: his wives, Evelyn B. Ray and Ethel McCall Ray; his siblings, Alton Ray (Judy), Dudley Ray, Jerry Ray, Walter Ray, Jr. (Walker), Lacy Ray (Carol), Boyce Ray, Mary Beane (Herbert) and Gladys Walters (James); and his siblings-in-law, L. J. Powell, Bill Moser, Carl Hegwer, Bobby Beane and Jacqueline "Jackie" Gibson Ray.
He is survived by: his siblings, Billy Ray, Bobby Ray (Pat), James Morris Ray, Ellis Ray (Sandra), Jeanette Powell (Luther), Betty Powell, Maxine Moser, Irene Hegwer and Sherrill Beane; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Ray and Ruby Ray. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
Family will receive friends following the service at graveside with all COVID-l9 restrictions.
