He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Douglas Shannon and Margie Jean Gattis Biggs; and his brother Darrell Shannon. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Shannon of Lancaster, SC and Anna Shannon of Lancaster, SC; and his sister Beverly Clemmons of Georgia.
