With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Ray Carlisle (Laurinburg, North Carolina), who passed away on March 25, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jay Carlisle, Nash Carlisle, Everette Carlisle, Henry Carlisle, Joe Carlisle, Shirley Grant, Janie Shepherd, Elizabeth Blackman, Lessie Autry, Essie Sutton, Alice Clark, Ethel Danford and Ada Carlisle.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Carol Dunn Carlisle; his daughters, Jennifer Strickland (Richard) of Marston, Amy Blackwell (Brandon) of Rocky Mount and Ashley Rice (Jason) of Hamlet; his grandchildren, Kayla Herring (Carlton), Zoie Blackwell, Zachary Blackwell and Angalliyah Dyer; his great grandchildren, Caleb Walters and Karleigh Herring; his sisters, Helen Staton and Sarah Benton; and his sister-in-law Nancy Carlisle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many special friends.
The family requests donations be given in Donald's memory to the Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church.
