It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Gordy of Laurinburg, North Carolina, who passed away on November 1, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Martin English and Annie Louise Norton Jackson; her husband James E. Gordy; and her son Timothy Allen Gibson. She is survived by: her siblings, Danny English (Susan) of Laurinburg and Linda Marie English of Laurinburg; her nephews, Jeffery English (Leslie) and Brian English; and her close friend Diane Cheek.
