It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freddie Gibson Sr. of Laurinburg, North Carolina, who passed away on November 25, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland S. Gibson and Mary Alice Dunn Gibson; his son Warren C. Gibson; and his brother James Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Carol Conaway Gibson; his sons, Freddie L. Gibson, Jr. (Lisa) of Laurel Hill and Kenneth Gibson (Chasity) of Bennettsville, SC; and his brothers, Rodney Mayhew (Judy) of Huntersville, NC and Larry Gibson (Carleen) of Laurel Hill. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.
