He was predeceased by: his parent H. B. Oxendine; and his siblings, Hubert Locklear, Carolyn Brooks, Shirley Brown, Cathy Oxendine and Linda Locklear.
He is survived by: his mother Pearlie Locklear of Maxton; his wife Wanda S. Oxendine; his children, Melissa Oxendine, Melinda Locklear, Amanda Oxendine and Brian Oxendine of Maxton; and his sister Pearline Deal of Red Springs. He is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Due to the current COVID-19 status, facial masks with social distancing are required for all services.
