He is survived by: his wife Stennett; his children, Mary Powell Rhodes (Bob) of Cary, NC, Mack McLeod (Rebecca) of Hickory, NC, Catherine Gilmore (John) of Salemburg, NC, John McLeod of Newport, NC., Hadley and Alice of Durham, NC.; and his nieces, Laura Grover Walls (Mike) of Black Mountain, NC and Mary Lawrence Grover of Ecuador.
