James Calhoun Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Calhoun (Laurinburg, North Carolina), who passed away on July 30, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Lee Calhoun and Letha Flowers Spivey Calhoun; his children, James Hugh Calhoun, II, Claude Bennett, Michael Bennett and Cinthia Maria Calhoun; and his siblings, Franklin Calhoun and Letha Frances Calhoun.
He is survived by: his wife Hattie Gibson Calhoun of Conway, SC; his daughter Amy Frances Ingram of Portsmouth, VA; and his brother Glenn Calhoun of Lumberton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and many friends.
