He was predeceased by: his father Jeffery Morris; his children, Christian Morris and Mary Margaret Morris; and his stepfather Johnny Pittman. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Webb Morris Pittman of Raeford; his close friend Grace Farmer; his children, T. J. Morris (Brittany) of Rockfish, Elizabeth "Gwen" Morris (E. J.) of Raeford and Michael "Earl" Morris; his siblings, Jeffery Morris (Katie) of Lagrange and Amanda Jones (Jerry) of Raeford; his grandsons, Bradley Morris and Harley Morris; and his cousins, Tommy Webb and Melinda McMillan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; loving aunts, uncles.
