With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Tew of Laurinburg, North Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2020 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Tew to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Branson Tew and Dorothy Hicks Tew; his spouse Maddie Carolyn Norton Tew; his sons, James Craig Tew and Wade B. Tew; his granddaughter Nikki Oxendine; and his siblings, Percy Tew and Janice Sheppard.

He is survived by: his close friend Bella; his children, Darryl Tew (Tonia) of Laurinburg, Cathie Smith and Wanda "Lynn" Johnson; and his brother Johnny Tew of Laurinburg. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews.

COVID-19 Mandates require facial mask or coverings with limited attendance for all services.

Memorial donations are requested to be given to the Oak Hill Church of God Building Fund.
