He was predeceased by: his family Jessie; his daughter Betty Bryant; his granddaughters, Esmerada Valentino and Alexandria Bryant; and his brothers, Chester Lee "Pop" Bryant, John Walter Bryant and Roy Lee Bryant.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Strickland Bryant; his children, Cary Green of Chadbourn, Tina Hammonds of Chadbourn, Helen Gutierrez-Clewiston of Florida, Mary Bryant of Chadbourn, Willard Bryant of Chadbourn, Thomas Bryant of Nashville, TN, Terry Bryant of Buffalo, SC, Jerry Bryant of Saint Paul and Roy Bryant of Chadbourn; and his siblings, Thomas Allen Bryant of Hamlet, James Bryant of Laurinburg, Berlin Bryant of Laurinburg, Mary Jane Bryant of Laurinburg and Betty Bryant Haywood of Laurinburg. He is also survived by thirty one grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews.
