It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Johnsie Riggan of Laurinburg, North Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hudson and Eclipsi May Stricklin Hudson; her husband Lewis M. Riggan; and her sons, Gattis Riggan and Keith Riggan.
She is survived by: her son Timothy "Tim" Riggan (Tammy) of Parkton; her daughters-in-law, Cackey Riggan of Laurinburg and Tonia Shaw of Dunn; and her siblings, Rev. Mifred Hudson (Carol) of Danville, VA and Valerie Wheeler (Bud) of Winston Salem. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends following service at graveside with facial mask and social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to be given in Mrs. Riggan's memory to the Laurinburg Christian Church, 1111 Turnpike Road, Laurinburg, NC 28352.
