She was predeceased by: her parents, James Boyd Smith, Sr. and Bertha McCormick Smith; her daughter Baby Girl Lawrence; and her siblings, James "Sonny" Boyd Smith, Jr., Larry Smith, Catherine Hammock, Frances Robinson and Shirley Kottyan.
She is survived by: her husband Jackie Lawrence; her sons, Michael Lawrence (Debbie) of Laurinburg, NC and Todd Lawrence (Betsy) of Rock Hill, SC; her siblings, Marshall Smith (Patty), Maxie Smith and Betty Smith of Laurinburg, NC; her grandchildren, Taylor Lawrence Locklear Chris (Donald Locklear, Jr.), Morgan Lawrence Wilson (Jamie Wilson) and Justin Lawrence; her great grandchildren, Kash Locklear, Mila Wilson and Waylon Lawrence; and her close friend Otto. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
