We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2022, at the age of 75, Luther Edward Cassidy (Laurinburg, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Lloyd and Grace Elizabeth Knotts Cassidy; his children, Luther Edward Cassidy, Jr. and Lekita Cassidy; and his siblings, Bord Cassidy and Lee Cassidy.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Welch Cassidy; his children, Petty Lee Cassidy, Jeffrey Todd Cassidy of Troy, Robert Edward Cassidy of Star, Crystal Cassidy and Renae Barry of Wadesboro; and his siblings, Frances Callicutt, Patsy Downer, Sue Cassidy of Rockingham and Melvin Cassidy of Rockingham. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
