She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry J. Penny and Lilly Jacobs Penny; her husband Cecil Thompson; and her granddaughter Martha Thompson Parson. She is survived by: her son Leonard Thompson (Lesley Noble Thompson) of Jacksonville Beach, FL; her grandson Leonard Stephen Thompson, Jr. (Katy) of Birmingham, AL; her grandson-in-law Cliff Parson; her sister Betty P. Myers of Laurinburg, NC; her great grandchildren, Ford Parson, Mary Lesley Parson, MacKenzie Thompson and Foster Thompson; and her sibling's children, Elizabeth Ferguson of Southern Pines, NC, Penny Craner of Laurinburg and George Myers of Laurinburg, NC..
