He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Powell and Ada Faulk Powell; and his sister Annie Ruth Snead. He is survived by: his children, Robert Glenn Powell of Laurinburg and Gina Gay Powell Gibson (John) of Spring Lake; his brother Richard Powell; and his granddaughter Miranda Gibson. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
