He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Revels and Lucille Sampson Revels; his grandsons, Jordan Lee Locklear and Bentley Liam Smith; and his siblings, Roger Dale Revels, Marcia Revels Coble and Sybil Schomburg.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Paige Revels of Maxton and Jonnie "Megan" Revels Smith of Laurinburg; and his grandchildren, Jasmine Locklear, Logan Grace Locklear and Channing Gage Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many loving friends.
