He was predeceased by: his parents, John Branson Tew and Dorothy Hicks Tew; his wife Edna Evans Tew; his daughter Suzanne Kersey; and his grandson Travis Tew.
He is survived by: his sons, Billy Tew (Linda) of Hamlet, Johnny "Rock" Tew (Lisa) of Laurinburg and Michael Kersey (Marlena) of Laurinburg; his stepson Lee Smith of Wagram; his brothers, James Tew of Laurinburg and Johnny Tew of Laurinburg; and his grandchildren, Larry Ray Tew, Jennifer Watts, Budgy Tew, Chasity Tew, Shania Tew, Alan Kersey, Ray Ray Kersey, Noah Kersey, Jessica Smith, Jimmy Kessler, Brittany Gunter, Ashley Kersey, Bridgett Cummings, Beth Blackwell, Jeremy Taylor, Harley Taylor and Michael Alan Langley. He is also survived by twenty seven great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 Mandates, facial mask or covering are required and attendance for all services will be limited.
