She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Shortt and Myrtice Ruth Wike Shortt; and her siblings, Wade Shortt, Ronald Shortt, Geraldine "Geri" Newell and Medna Pritchett.
She is survived by: her husband Millard "Whitey" Earl Hall; and her children, Tom Maggio (Sircy), Karen Pitts (Luther Trey) of Mint Hill, NC and Tiffany Hall (David Graham) of Alexander. She is also survived by three grandchildren, along with her nieces, nephews, and many friends.
