It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Ward (Laurinburg, North Carolina), who passed away on June 11, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Harten and Katherine Compton Harten; her husband William "Bill" Ward; and her sister Valeria Stone. She is survived by: her children, James "Jimmy" Ward (Deirdre) of Savanah, GA, Tamra Cherrice Ward Bullard of Cedar Point and Debra Ward of Laurinburg; her siblings, Sonny Vasquez, Linda Wedmore, Annabel Scoggins, Trenna Vasquez and Ida Vasquez; and her grandchildren, James J. Ward, II, Bethany Lynn Gordon, Hannah Herring, Jeremy Ward and Daniel Ward.
