We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2020, at the age of 80, Stella Berry of Laurinburg, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lannau Ellerbee and Beulah Huggins Ellerbee; and her husband Jasper Junior Berry. She is survived by : her children, Rebecca Spivey (Monroe) of Whiteville, Nathan Chavis (Valdeana) of Lexington, Charles Berry of Rockingham, Myrtle Paul (Mack) of Rockingham, Jasper Berry (Tabitha) of Gibson and Kristy Smith (Shain) of Laurinburg; her siblings, Sam Hunt of Evergreen, Margie Jacobs of Bolton, Thelma Strickland of Fayetteville and Daphine Jacobs of Lake Waccamaw; her grandchildren, Anthony Spivey (Becky), Phillip Spivey (Kara), Macaila Paul, McKena Paul, Madison Berry, Chelsea Berry, Shaina Smith and Shelly Smith; and her great grandchildren, Cameron Harrington, Kaydence Paul, Addison Spivey, Easton Spivey, Abigail Spivey and Lakeyn Spivey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.

Due to COVID-19, a private family service will be 2:00 p. m. Friday, June 5, 2020 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Rev. D. J. Byrd.
