He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wallace Grooms; his children, Timmy Grooms (Shelia) of Seagrove, Chris Trumbull of Laurinburg and Mandy Grooms Williams (Michael) of Holly Springs; his brothers, William Grooms (Lynda) of McColl, SC and Cecil Grooms (Janice) of Marston, NC; and his grandchildren, Dalston Maness, Cameron Williams and Carson Williams. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and many friends.
