With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Kersey of Laurinburg, North Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2021 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Howard Kersey and Betty Sue Kersey; and his brothers, Ronald Kersey and James Vernon Kersey. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Hargrove Kersey; his children, Ronnie Pittman (Judy) of McColl, SC, Bryan Pittman (Tammy) of Laurel Hill, Stephanie "Tara" Walters of Laurinburg, Dana Tucker (Jim) of Laurinburg and Mandy Sessom (Eugene) of Laurel Hill; his brother Ralph Kersey (Angie) of Laurinburg; his grandchildren, Jacob Walters, Norrah Walters, Landen Walters, Trent Kersey (Rebecca), Ralynn Kersey, Gracyn Tucker, Londyn Sessom, Ivey Pittman, Ronnie Pittman, III, Alexander Pittman, James Pittman, Jaylynn Allen, Autumn Pittman, Noah Pittman and Marley Pittman; and his sister-in-law Yvonne Kersey. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Graveside service will be at 2:00 p. m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 in Hillside Cemetery, with COVID restrictions of facial masks and social distancing.
