He was predeceased by: his father Rufus "Buck" Rogers; his daughter Jayme Leigh Rogers; and his sister Teresa Saunders. He is survived by: his mother Ruby Simmons Rogers of Laurinburg; and his siblings, Darrell Rogers of Laurinburg, Michael Simmons (Deborah) of Rowland and Janet Mudd Mudd (Andy) of Laurinburg. He is also survived by four grandchildren, along with his nieces, nephews, and many friends.
