With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Charlie Hicks (Laurinburg, North Carolina), who passed away on January 31, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hicks, Sr. and Mary Collins Hicks; and his siblings, Robert Hicks, Jr., Olin Hicks, Donald Hicks, Thomas Hicks and Virginia McIntyre Chavis.
He is survived by: his children, Charlie William Hicks, Willard Augusta Hicks and Robert Lee Hicks; his stepson Targett Shone Hicks of Gastonia; and his granddaughter Jaquata Sue Hicks of Gastonia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
