He was predeceased by: his parents, William Reynolds and Virginia Sutherland. He is survived by: his children, Reynolds Sutherland (Jami) and Laurin Sutherland (Peanut); his sister Irma; his brother-in-law Bob Massengill; his grandchildren, Braxton, Banx Sutherland, Rowen, Lilly, Marley Rose Cox, Chase and Conner Kubis; his caregivers, Shelby Clyburn, Patricia Riddle, Theresa Modlin and Sharon Bethel; Heidi Cox (Russ) and Christy Kubis (Gregg).
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium (305 E Church St, Laurinburg, NC 28352). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium Chapel (305 E Church St, Laurinburg, NC 28352).
