He is survived by: his wife Lesia; his daughters, Kelly James (Keith) and Billie Scearce (Danny); his siblings, Frankie Carter, Rodney Carter, Tim Carter (Judy), Mae Dean Simmons, Sylvia Bryant (Ronnie) and Peggy Wade; his stepgrandchildren, Kennedy Martin, Amelia Scearce, Aubrey Martin, Rachael Scearce, Molly Martin, Jessie Scearce, Julia Scearce, Holden Scearce, Kole James and Sydney Woodlieff (Jacob); and his friend Junior. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren.
